Tonsina Creek Tour

Our 3-hour excursion is ideal for those with limited time or a tight schedule. We will begin with basic sea kayak instruction and once on the water, your guide will also provide an informative narration about the small, fascinating creatures in the intertidal zone and geological features along the rocky shoreline. We’ll watch for otters and eagles as we paddle to a small tidal creek to explore a ghost forest and an Alaskan salmon habitat. Occasionally, Orcas, sea lions and porpoise are sighted. Our relaxed paddle will beach along the shore for a refreshing snack and drink.
