Safety Check!
Drysuits are Provided and Required for all Liquid Adventures trips in Bear Glacier
We provide drysuits for all of our clients as part of our Bear Glacier trips. We very rarely have clients in the water, but if it happens we want to be prepared. The water in Bear Glacier's lagoon is fed by glacier runoff, and it is kept colder than the ocean all summer long by giant icebergs. Even if the air temperature is warm, the water is still cold, so our drysuits provide the necessary safety buffer to make sure that getting wet is no big deal.
Even if you choose not to visit a glacier lagoon with us at Liquid Adventures, make sure that wearing a drysuit is part of your plan! It should be considered essential safety gear for any adventure in very cold water. (Note: we only have up to XXL drysuits. As a general rule, if you are close to or over 6'6" tall or 260lbs, you may not fit into our drysuits and cannot go on the trip. For suit dimensions, click here)

Difficulty Level
This is an adventurous trip in Seward Alaska.
It is very fun, but it is definitely a trip where you are exposed to the elements.
Paddlers should be comfortable spending most of the day actively paddling in a kayak.
If you would like all day to kayak or paddleboard in stunning Bear Glacier Lagoon outside of Seward Alaska, this is your fully outfitted opportunity
Enjoy a tasty homemade lunch, stable sit in kayaks and spectacular iceberg exploring at an affordable cost.
Arrive by a thrilling jet boat ride up a glacial river, and return home flying with ridiculously scenic views aboard a helicopter. Both modes of transportation is a true Alaskan adventure and proves that the journey is just as amazing as the destination. This destination will leave you awestruck however as the lagoon's icebergs are ever changing. The massive ice is released from the toe of the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park where they float inside a fresh water lagoon separated from the ocean by a picturesque beach.
Having all day to explore the lagoon will leave you with lasting memories of how large and rugged Bear Glacier Lagoon is. This is a must do trip for avid wilderness seekers, kayakers, paddleboarders, photographers and anyone else wanting to have their mind blown in the Alaskan backcountry.
